Sponsor An Adoption

Sometimes, helping an animal find a home can be as simple as giving their future adopter a little extra reason to say yes.

Through HSIMC’s Adoption Sponsorship Program, you can cover the adoption fee for one of our available animals and become a special part of their journey home.

Choose to sponsor an adult dog, adult cat, or long-stay/senior resident. Our team will match your sponsorship with an adoptable animal in that category. Have someone special in mind? You’re welcome to include the name of a currently adoptable HSIMC animal, and our team will do our best to accommodate your request.

Once matched, your sponsorship covers that animal’s full adoption fee, allowing their future family to adopt them with the fee already generously provided by someone in their community.

How It Works

Select the type of adoption you would like to sponsor and complete your sponsorship. Our team will select an eligible adoptable animal and apply your sponsorship to their adoption fee.

If you request a specific animal, we will do our best to honor your request based on their availability and adoption status.

Sponsors may be recognized on the animal’s kennel card and can choose to receive an update when their sponsored animal is adopted.

You may not be able to adopt them yourself—but you can help someone else bring them home.
